从“favor”的英英释义可以看得出,它有两层意思,一层是赞同(approval),另一层是偏好(preference),所以“favor”可以分别替换“support”和“prefer”。不管是哪层意思,“favor”都是及物动词,也都会经常出现在《经济学人》中。
