One day a man spoke to his grandson about abattle going on between two wolves.
One wolf is evil. It represents anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other wolf is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
The grandson thinks a while about thewarring wolves and then asks his grandfather, “So which wolf will win?”
The grandfather simply replies, “The wolf that wins is the one that you feed.”
