“prevail” 有两个常见的意思，一个是“获胜”，另一个是“ (态度、风俗）流行”。今天我们学习的是它的第一个意思“获胜”。我们可以用 prevail 替换 win，triumph，比如《经济学人》在书评板块评价李开复先生的新书 AI Superpowers 时，在标题部分就用到了 prevail：
