1 胡说八道；瞎说；胡扯 怎么说？
用nonsense就可以。
可以直接说：“Nonsense.” 或者“Such nonsense."
再比如：
谁会信这种鬼话呀?
Who would believe such nonsense?
（根据情境，文雅一点的话完全可以把“鬼话”换成“无稽之谈”）
2 scrutinize
很好用的词，表示认真检查，仔细审查，口语里经常有审视、关注的意思。
名词是scrutiny。
他仔细关注着对手的一举一动。
He closely scrutinized his opponent's every move.
3 DD: due diligence
说到scrutinize我就想到了DD：Due Diligence. 在商业环境、金融领域里常见到。比如收购一家公司，投资一个创业企业，雇佣一个重要高管，之前都要进行DD。
比如：
买家在敲定合同前对目标公司进行了尽职调查。
The acquiring firm exercised due diligence on the target company prior to finalizing the contract.
4 一无是处 怎么说？
哈利·波特英文版里（第一部，第一章），德思里夫妇形容哈利父亲的时候就用到了这个词：

5 说一个人很好斗，怎么说？
belligerent：好斗/好战的，挑衅的，充满攻击性的
比如我很喜欢的一部美剧傲骨贤妻里的这句：
Yes, you were pigheaded, belligerent, and arrogant to the extreme... but you're, uh.. you're also a hell of a lawyer.
没错，你特别顽固，好斗，还极端自大...但是...你也是个顶级的律师。
