最近我注意到这样一个现象，经常乘坐地铁、逛商场的朋友们一定对各种铺天盖地的线上教育广告十分熟悉，提起这些广告，你脑子里蹦出来的第一个场景大概就是各种明星凭借他们的号召力，用尽全身力气向你安利这些教育平台，但是说白了“Emmmmm……究竟XXXX代言这个广告的意义是什么?”当然，在这个趋势之前，众多针对学生和成人学习的教育机构最常见的做法就是把自己的广告传单贴得满墙都是，毫无疑问，这种做法确实成功地怒刷了存在感。

       那么你有没有想过这些广告都有什么共同点呢?他们全部都在“推销”一种1对1教育方式，让你感觉很自己special——“没错，来我们这里，你们每、个、人、都能获得私人的培训课”(等下，不需要我来解释这句话的意思吧？？）总之呢，这些公司刻意的让目标观众感觉这种学习是有特权的，每个学生都可以从当中获得他所期待的关注，就像私人旅游、私人餐饮或任何类型的私人服务，甚至是被设为微博里的“特别关注”，我说对了吧？归根结底，当消费者把服务者的时间占为己有，那肯定要付出比群体教学要多的消费金额。

      所以这就是一切问题的起源:学习和享受服务虽说有多个共同点，比如说大家都能享受到服务，但这也是唯一的相似之处了。讲真，学习实际上是掌握技巧和知识，而且我本人也不断地在不同的文章倡导过，被动和主动学习是完全两码事情(还不赶紧关注我的自媒体补补课？）

       等等，那么你认为我是在讲如果只用1对1服务其实就是废物吗?嗯没错，绝、对、是、的。如果你只用这一种学习模式并不用任何其他附加的方式来去补充一下，绝对的是没有的废物，废物！想想看，你只向一个人学习，你不觉得超级吃亏吗?尤其是语言教育，少了集体互动环节怎么能行？当然，1对1能将基本功打造地扎实一点，但鬼知道如果你缺乏其它补充学习的方法，那谈什么强化自己的能力呢?荒唐！

       我想告诉你的就是，这种私人、个性化学习计划的概念都是非常厉害的营销手段，并且也是大工程，我觉得没有任何对错。但如果你是真心想学习，你肯定需要的是互动性学习，有很多证据证明这样有利于记忆保存率的提高，而且说实话，你也会觉得跟别人一起学习相比自己孤零零学习更有动力。为了让大家继续探讨这个问题，大家可以关注我其他的文章在详细分析这些科学的依据——我可不是在这篇文章里随便说说而已。

       醒醒，你需要的不仅是1对1，而且也需要互动性学习。只有一种，那么毫无疑问，你其实就在被坑。

       很多评论者自认为学生就应该自己一个人学习，因为会觉得更专心，而且能这样就能完美把控住自己的学习速度，互动性的用处？在他们眼里这是完全可以忽略不谈的。你要问我对这种想法不赞同的理由?咳咳，说真的这种教育者肯定无法策划出一个有效的互动性学习体系，毕竟我培养出来的教学者都很清楚，如果这种主动性学习模式要成功地执行下去的话，小组人员要聚集在一起并且互相鼓励。这是唯一的办法，但前提是，导师的角色、互动性的学习环境，这两方面一定要严谨地搭建好。

If you only use 1 on 1 learning, you are getting scammed!

    I’ve noticed a phenomenon lately, there are tons of online education banners across numerous bus stations, subway stations, malls etc and a lot of them also feature a very well-known celebrity but whose presence on there makes you question “huh? Why XXXX is advertising for this?!” Before this new trend, a lot of educational companies targeting students and adult learning often plaster themselves all over a certain area to make their presence known.

    What’s in common with a lot of these ads? They all try to sell you this magic concept, this premium service that makes you feel special, “1 on 1” learning, which is where one student will get private lessons from one particular tutor (come on, you really didn’t need me to explain this did you?). These companies intentionally make the target audience feel that this type of learning is privileged and the student gets all the individual attention that he or she craves for, it’s akin to a private tour, private dining or any type of private service, right? I mean after all, when you buy out someone’s time and make sure that this person only spends this allocated time serving you, wouldn’t you want to pay an extra price for this, right?

    So here’s where the problem begins: learning and receiving a service may have similarities in which someone is doing the serving, but that’s also where the similarities end. Learning is the process of acquiring knowledge and skill, and as I’ve been repeatedly mentioning throughout my various articles, passive learning and active learning are NOT the same!

    Wait, so am I saying 1 on 1 is garbage? It most certainly is if you are only using this form of learning and nothing else to supplement this, in fact it’s filthy garbage. Think about it, you’re just learning from one person. Especially for language learning, you need the interaction. Of course, 1 on 1 is great for learning fundamentals, but how on earth do you think you’ll improve without any additional learning strategies? Ludicrous!

     What I’m telling you is, this concept of private, individualized lesson learning plans, it’s great marketing and it’s huge business, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But if you really want to learn, you need interactive learning, it is a FACT that it improves memory retention and when you learn with others, you definitely feel more motivated as well. You need 1 on 1 AS WELL AS interactive learning. Both if you want to learn, use only one and you’re getting ripped off.

     Critics claim that students should only use 1 on 1, because it makes you feel more privileged. They also claim that studying in a team, you might lose focus and it’s hard to ensure each person is studying according to their pace. My retort? The educator that designed the interactive learning is ineffective, because the educators I train are all aware that for interactive to be successful, the group must motivate each other and stay laser-sharp focused. It’s the only way to go, but only if the educators can frame the roles of facilitators and the learning environment properly！
