What will you do if you failed in the first try?
While, there are ups and downs in life. Everyone could fail. It’s what you do with it that makes the difference. Many people are eager for quick success and instant benefits but lack the patience required. It just reminds me an old man, Chu Shijian. He was the president of Yunnan Hongta Group, one of China’s largest tobacco companies. After being accused of corruption, Chu was fired and sentenced to life in prison. However, he never gave up in the face of such wretched circumstances. At the advanced age of 74, with funds borrowed from friends, Chu and his wife reclaimed wasteland to grow oranges, eventually leading to another success in his life. Chu Orange is now a famous brand in China. In a word, I think strong people turn their failures into lessons, while weak people turn their failures into excuses. Napoleon Bonaparte famously said that “He who fears being conquered is sure of defeat.” Yes, you failed, so what? What matters is don't allow it to stall out attempts at success. If we spend a life time playing everything safe, possibly we will have to watch others succeed.

The old saying tells 'You cannot teach an old dog new tricks.' The situation is when people get older normally they prefer stability and control, and they may not like any change in lives. Most elderly people like to stick with what they already know and familiar with. The problem is such kind of life can become boring because of lacking in challeges. It seems like something really important is missing from our lives. However, the situation is greatly improved recently. There have been many study groups set up for elderly people for the consideration of lifelong learning, for example, groups like handwriting, languages, computer skills etc.
