法里德没有陪同阿米尔去找塔利班，这让阿米尔内心感到一丝丝惶恐，他开始怀念父亲的勇敢，庆幸的是他没有因此逃脱，而是怀着必胜的决心敲响了塔利班组织的大门。按照小说情节发展，前文已经埋下了伏笔，阿米尔和阿瑟夫之间的纠葛注定不会简单的平息，不出所料，阿瑟夫此时已经成为了塔利班的小头目，可怜的索拉博沦为其玩弄的工具。阿米尔为营救索拉博几乎付出了生命的代价，最后在二人共同的努力下，逃出了阿瑟夫的囚禁，并让阿瑟夫付出了相应的代价。故事看到这里，我内心对阿米尔产生了敬意，或许真的是为了还债，或许是性格中还存在着一丝丝父亲勇敢的品质，无论是什么，我觉得对于阿米尔而言，这次回到喀布尔都是内心的解脱。
Summary
Amir knocked the door of Taliban while Faried waited in the car. This moment, actually Amir didn't want to go in alone . He missed Baba, who had the courage of fight against the bad . After frisking, they let him to the room . Amir has never been so nervous that he crossed his legs and then uncrossed them .Finally, he met the offical who still wearing his dark glasses with two guards . To his surprise, one of the guards suddenly tossed his beard up and down .The fact that the official is Assef .Amir told him that the only aim of his coming here was taking away the boy - Sohrab .But Assef told Amir that he can only have the boy unless beaten him. Indeed, Amir paid for it , he had badly hurt to escape from Taliban and could hardly lost conscious . Amir was sent to a hospital for a few days . When he was recovering, Faried let him go for fear that the Taliban would find them again .At last , he took Soharb to Islamabad .
