To bring awareness to the problem of water pollution, Greenkayak, a Denmark-based environmental group, is letting travelers kayak for free on a number of Europe's rivers and lakes - as long as they pick up any garbage they find along the way.

Tourists from China to the US dropped for the first time in 15 years, despite that the total outbound trips of Chinese tourists rose significantly last year.

Data released on Tuesday by the US National Trave land Tourism Office showed that the number of Chinese tourists travelling to the US fell 5.7% to 2.9 million last year.
