Summary
Little People and Mice both found the Cheese Station C, but the way they considered their achievement is different. While Hem and Haw were immersed into happiness of success and became arrogant, Sniff and Scurry still kept calm and paid attention to the change in Cheese Station C.
So when the cheese disappeared, Sniff and Scurry quickly accepted the truth and searched for new cheese as before. But Hem and Haw didn't expect such thing to happen.What's worse, finding cheese meant a great deal to them far more than just having enough to eat. All the future plan based on the cheese was destroyed,so they panicked, raged and blanked rather than find new cheese.After complaining the unfairness of life, they returned home hungry and discouraged.
Story
At times our confidence is built upon something important to us.But what if the base was destroyed? What if the things you relied on disappear?
Several years ago, I heard of a story of my relative's friend.
He was a civil servant.
To some extent, it's definitely a decent job. He just need to sit in the office, drink tea and read newspaper till his getting off. Though he didn't earn much, his job was relatively stable and he didn't worry about loosing the job.
He also had a girl-friend, who had accompanied him for 7 years. And his girl-friend's parents were satisfied with his job and willing to let him marry their daughter.
His life seemed perfect.
She was still too young to know that life never gives anything for nothing and that a price is always exacted for what fate bestows.

All the things went well until he was resigned.
I have to say this situation was literally rare. His boss was resigned for some reason and he got involved on account of his boss. It was his boss that made him loose job. It's definitely unfair.
But this is life. what he had to do was finding another job.
He cast a large amount of resumes, only to find there's nobody employing him. 10-year office life killed his ambition and blunted his skills, within which he didn't learn anything.
Apparently he couldn't afford a family.So their relationship broke off.
Modesty is a word repeated a lot by Chinese. A large amount of people claim they are modest ,but they all forget a prerequisite. Modesty is only applied to that you have made some achievements. For Hem and Haw, being modest isn't easy because their achievement transform their confidence into arrogance.
Our confidence, future plan and motivation are all built upon these 'Cheese'.
So what if these important things are cleared up?
