前言：
所有人都要我放弃阅读小说和诗歌（歌词某种程度上就是现代诗歌），我父母让我放弃阅读杂书，应该读课堂书籍，我老师同学也劝我放弃读别的，就读考试书就好，工作后老板同事也不希望我读杂书，应该只读和工作相关的书，唯有一个10岁的孩子“枝枝”欢迎我说“找到热爱真好呀，一起来阅读吧！”
今早，翻译乐队Five finger Death Punch歌曲《审判日》时，其中有一句词，同样深以为然，歌词英文是If you're gonna take a life better keep it to yourself,（如果你想生活好点，请做你自己），所有人让我别做自己，可就是歌词却让我做自己，也只有10岁中国孩子让我做自己，您说逗不逗。
后来我深度想了，所有人都被社会无形裹挟着规训着，他们也不知道真正的自己是什么样的，自然也不可能让我做自己了。我的父母在新中国一穷二白基础上成长，他们只恐惧于忍饥挨饿，我的祖国同胞，他们也才从改革开放的大潮中，认识到一点点世界的真正模样，还时刻恐惧着历史会不会开倒车。人人皆有恐惧，为恐惧而过，就是不会为自己而活啊！
然而，今日我想清楚了，死就死吧，战胜恐惧，我就必须做自己。“民不畏死 奈何以死惧之？”
白雁平也好，王东也好，黄思明也罢，名字只不过是标签，但是背后的那个人却可以真正主宰自己，愿所有中国人找到丢失的自己。Do it to yourself ！
题记：
我要做这个事情，是被知乎上的一个问题激发的灵感，实际上，过去十年，我应该断断续续翻译了上百首英文歌曲，在搜集过去翻译的同时，我只需要继续坚持翻译下去就好了。不同于知乎可以无限期修改更新，似乎简书平台有字数限制。
引子：
幸福的童年，总能治愈一生，而不幸的童年，可能要一生来治愈。我的童年里，父亲给了我最积极正面的影响。
因为，我始终记得40余年前，父亲给我做的那个榜样。面对母亲疯狂怒吼，歇斯底里，他仍然热心肠，仍然急公好施，仍然捧着一本“右髯神相”给瞎子阿炳读书，誓要帮助阿炳把算命挣钱的本事学会。阿炳不厌其烦地问，父亲不厌其烦得读，两人经年累月，事毕功成。
本篇365首英文歌翻译，打算以我喜欢的两个乐队或歌手为来源，也就是Linkin Park和Lana Del Rey。喜欢打雷姐，我买了她的诗集和诗集封面的手机套；喜欢林肯公园，我买了好几件印有专辑字样的体恤。
知乎问题：
每天坚持背10个单词，能学好英语吗？
我之回答：
一天背10个单词，我不知道能不能学好英语，但是每天背诵一首英文歌词，如此持续它365天。如果忘记了，继续反复背诵，直到彻底记诵住了，最后能够流利 跟着音乐唱出来的话，想必英语应该也学得差不多了。
其实，我已经背了很多天了，我自己又非常喜欢唱歌，因此背诵起来乐此不疲。所以，关键还是要你对这个学习方法对胃口，也就是这个方法，恰好是符合你的兴趣点的。譬如，有人喜欢看电影，ta看了无数遍也不觉得腻烦，那么，ta就可以通过看电影来学英语，先看带翻译的，再看纯英文字幕的，最后，直接看不带字幕的。
不论学什么，我们只能一步步，找到那个关键的兴趣点，循序渐进慢慢来，这样学起来就会既有趣，还有效。
其实，我听歌学英语，也不是胡乱一起听的，我要把英文歌词抄下来，自己尝试翻译一遍，再背诵起来也容易很多。下面分享我这些年学的英文歌，翻译都是我自己动手翻译，只有自己动手的，才会记得特别牢固，看别人的中文翻译，总会差点意思。
有些歌词是我几年前就翻译过了，今次全部整理到这个帖子里，能整理多少就多少，以后还来增加。(好像超过2.5万字不让写，所以新开一篇继续之，这一点知乎就好多了)

《七岁》卢卡斯·格拉汉（丹麦）2015
该曲是一首流行灵魂歌曲，并且受了嘻哈音乐的影响。歌曲带有Hip-Hop元素，音调在降B大调到G小调之间，以中速的钢琴声与打击乐构成主基调。歌曲表达了对人生不同阶段的回顾与思考，从童年、青年到老年，情感层层递进。
这也是一首10年的老歌了，老歌新听，也是一番新奇滋味，因为我以前从未听过。关于描述父亲的歌，我已经翻译很多首，有美国当红歌手泰勒·斯威夫特（Taylor Swift ）的《最美一天》，有瑞士夭亡天才歌手艾维奇Avicii(1089-2018)的《夜晚》，还有打雷姐的《1949》，今天这一首便是第四首。
四首父亲的歌，最不喜欢的就是泰勒那首，其余三首都喜欢，喜爱度不分上下，那可能有人会问“既然你都不喜欢这首歌，为啥还要逼自己爱听这首歌呢？”那我只能做个比喻了，我不喜欢曾经那个控制欲极强的母亲，可我没有选择，我不喜欢老气沉沉的所谓“政治家”，明明把控朝政几十年了，还装作一副很无辜的无赖表情，我说的当然是俄国的普京，可是俄罗斯的国情，我又何德何能有权利指控呢？所以，尽管我不喜欢泰勒，但是我尊重都喜欢这个歌手的权利，我为了附和全世界的泰勒粉们，我也会勉为其难听两首泰勒的歌曲。
这首还是来自丹麦歌手Lukas Graham的《七岁》，首先喜欢他的曲调，其次歌词也写得很温馨感人，当然词作精神内涵有些过于讨好父亲这样一个形象，略微有些失去自我的理性意识，然而，这首歌本来就是写给去世的父亲的，那也就白璧微瑕，无可指摘了。
也不是一句也没有，在字里行间，总有那么一两句透露理性的光芒，比如这一句Something about the glory, just always seemed to bore me,
Cause only those I really love will ever really know me,（所谓荣光，每次只是看似承载我，因为只有那些真挚热爱将每每真懂我），很多人恐怕听到这里，会觉得这句话和整首歌的主题，有些不协调，甚至说就是很突兀。他为啥要来这么一句only really love really know me（只有真爱才懂我），“真爱”可以理解为“父爱”，还可以双关理解为那些“真挚热爱”，那些父亲曾经做过的积极的榜样，已经融化到心灵深处，成为自己的一种习惯，一种信仰。我的父亲也去逝很多年了，但是父亲曾经做出的阅读榜样，已经在我内心深处深埋，“小说阅读”已经内化到我的内心深处，我甚至能把生活中所见所闻都通过“小说”的形式记载脑海里，然后有一天通过自己写小说的方式表达出来。
总之，小说可能才是我整个人生最爱的那个“Really love”，写作并不是热爱，书法更不是热爱，唱歌也不是真挚热爱，把英语翻译成中文也不是，所有这些输出方式，只不过是“阅读小说”这个终极热爱的某种表现形式，又或者说是副产品。

Making Love Out Of Nothing At All All～李玖哲（电影《艋胛》插曲）
《除非爱你，我一无所有》～李玖哲
今天试着翻译这首李玖哲的Making Love out of nothing At All，最初我读到这首歌的名字，我都没办法翻译它，因为它太露骨了，中国人绝不能把Making Love 当歌名的，但这是英语，也就可想而知了。继而我去看这电影《艋胛》，大约15年前，这部电影也是名闻天下过，十多年前的电影，故事情节等都忘得一干二净。
我只好再去重温故事。原来写的是一群台湾古惑仔的爱恨情仇故事嘛，再来慢慢翻译英文，就会很通顺了。当我翻译到“我不懂如何实现诺言”的时候，忽然开朗起来，除了在女孩这里找一丝慰藉，他一无所有，我就把歌名译为《除非爱你，我一无所有》。具体翻译中文如下：

《未见》——林肯公园
有时候，不得不承认，有的歌手我就是喜欢不来，譬如泰勒·斯威夫特(不论她本人再漂亮，我的乐感就是和她冲突)。今天，搜索林肯公园的这首《未见》（invisible）时，竟然发现泰勒也有同名歌曲，因为它这首歌听的人多，每次搜索都给排在了林肯公园的《未见》之前，我就勉为其难试听一下，结果发现还是听不下去。
也许，林肯公园只是小众，但那又如何？在我内心里，林肯公园光辉如“灿烂千阳”（林肯公园有一本专辑就叫《灿烂千阳》A Thousand Suns发表于2010年9月），那就够了。仍然来分享林肯公园这首Invisible的中文翻译，如下：

歌曲后来做了美剧Lucifer 第四季第八集插曲，网易云音乐网友ADS说：“lucifer:s4e8 caleb没做错什么，他只是个迷途知返的黑人小孩。”美剧没看，不太懂。
然而，正所谓“放下屠刀，立地成佛！”我们在批判欧美“审判日”文化的同时，是否想到传统文化里也有这样的说法呢？譬如《水浒传》中，花和尚鲁智深最后逝世于浙江钱塘江畔，听着江上潮信奔腾而来，也是一种“立地成佛”，或者说，那就是鲁智深的judgement day。我曾多次摘录这一段，真是太喜欢了，在此不妨还是原文摘录一次，如下：
且说鲁智深自与武松在寺中一处歇马听候，看见城外江山秀丽景物非常，心中欢喜！
是夜月白风清水天共碧，二人正在书房中睡至半夜，忽听江上潮声雷响，鲁智深是关西汉子，不曾省得浙江潮信，只道战鼓响贼人生发摸了禅杖大喝着，便抢出来…………
鲁智深笑道：既然死乃唤作圆寂，洒家今日必当圆寂！烦与俺烧桶汤来，洒家沐浴！又问寺众要了纸笔写了一篇颂子…………颂曰：
平生不修善果，
只爱杀人放火，
忽地顿开金绳，
这里扯断玉锁！
咦！
钱塘江上潮信来，
今日方知我是我！
看到这一段，我们有一种回放鲁智深一生的感觉，特别是某年我在老同学阿君引领下听着钱塘江上一样的潮信，更有一种时光倒流感！
鲁智深本关西大汉，是北宋官府下的一名提辖，后为救弱女金翠莲，三拳打死镇关西，逃亡五台山做了和尚，赐名佛法广大，灵光智深！再后来就是大闹野猪林、解救豹子头、落寇二龙山。本身反对招安的鲁智深，跟随宋江归顺后一时落落寡合。最后，他在浙江，眼见着山寨兄弟一个个死得七零八落，听见潮信本以为贼人来攻，不想是钱塘潮，才想起来五台山智真长老的偈语“听潮而圆，见信而寂！”果真坐化在钱塘江边上的六合寺！
大体上，鲁智深的这一刻，也可用〈审判日〉来做比，除了Stealth 所演唱的这个版本Judgement Day ，还有“五拳死”的版本，也是非常经典，一并翻译，如下：

实际上，乐队Five finger Death Punch 的翻译并没有统一标准，暂时命名为“五指击死(乐队)”，当然“五拳击死（乐队）”也无不可。《水浒传》第三回有“鲁智深三拳打死镇关西”的故事，这个“三拳打死”，可不就是和“五拳击死（乐队）”很匹配嘛。
