The Asian elephants are endangered because they are hunted illegally. They were hunted because their tusks can be used to make statues and luxury products.

We have to let elephants grow slowly  but surely. If you go to Thailand for tourism, please avoid riding elephants.

Once the illegal hunters were caught and so many tusks were found. How shocking! The tusks were burned for no reason at all! What a tragedy!
