Early in the morning, when I got up, I was so confident and ambitious because I had prepared my lessons for the Free English Class last night. I quickly made breakfast for the family while my daughter was still sleeping soundly.
In the class, I had great fun. Having such a group of fellows who love English always makes me moved. I think in some ways, I am inspired and motivated by these guys. They are my teachers rather than I am theirs because I have learned a lot from them.
Mrs Dou, my daughter Eve and I, three of us, had lunch in a special restaurant and had a long talk. That was pleasant and relaxing with the exception of the part when Mrs Dou talked of something bad happened to her family because that made me think of my uncle, my mother’s younger brother. Is he all right? I was so concerned about him.
In the afternoon, I was woken up by the phone ring which was from my sister. She told me my 80-year- old uncle had had a fall three days before and had to stay in bed. He urinated everywhere on the bed and it made the room so terrible. My sister wondered if I could buy a urine bag.
I felt so sad for my uncle that I wanted to cry. I also felt life was so changeable! We can not control our own life! This moment you are OK, But next moment … Who knows ?
All the afternoon and evening, I just thought of my uncle. What a hard time he is going through !
Tomorrow I will go to see my uncle.
