Hello, guys.本周小鹿带来的绘本是读者不忘初心留言点播的I am a Mouse。
这本绘本是I am a Bunny的姊妹篇，绘者也是Richard Scarry。绘本延续了I am a Bunny温馨细腻的画风，向读者们展示了一幅童话般的森林全景画卷。
这本绘本的主题是友谊，小老鼠迪迪是森林里的小红人，走到哪都有朋友，说不定连天敌猫头鹰都不忍心捉他呢。在孩子刚开始交朋友的时候陪孩子读这本书，即可以学习朋友间的友好、有爱，又可以让崽子们知道朋友间相互陪伴，一起玩耍的意义，快读起来吧。
My name is Deedee.
我叫迪迪，
I'm quite small , and I'm a mouse.
我很小，我是一只老鼠
I live in the big field near the woods.
我住在树林边上的大田野上。
Everyday, I visit my friends.
每天，我都会去拜访我的朋友们。
This is my friend, the green katydid.
这是我的朋友，绿色的纺织娘。
First of all, the little mouse introduces himself to you.
首先，小老鼠给你做了自我介绍。
Can you introduce yourself to him？
你能向他介绍一下你自己吗？
You can learn from him.
你可以向他学学。
You can say, I am Louis. I'm three years old. I am a boy.
你可以说，我是如意，我今年三岁了，我是男生。
Deedee is such a small mouse, that he can stand on a reed.
迪迪真是只小老鼠，他竟然能站在芦苇叶上。
One of my neighbors is the friendly green turtle
我的一个邻居是友好的绿乌龟。
He lives under the blackberry bush.
他住在黑莓丛下。
Then Deedee visits him friend green turtle.
接下来，迪迪拜访了他的朋友绿乌龟。
His friend treats him with some blackberries.
他的朋友请他吃了些黑莓。
They tasts sweet and sour.
他们吃起来酸酸甜甜的。
Sometimes I meet my friend the snail in the apple orchard.
有时我在苹果园和我的朋友蜗牛见面。
After that, the little mouse goes to the snail's place.
之后，小老鼠去了蜗牛家。
And the kindly snail treats him with some apples.
友好的蜗牛请他吃了些苹果。
Oh, the apple is so big.

Even bigger than Deedee.
比迪迪还大。
Can Deedee eat it all？

I don't think so.

There is a stream in our field.
在我们的田野上有一条溪流。
I go there to see the big trout
我去那看大鲑鱼。
The little mouse keeps on going and visits the trout now.
小老鼠继续前进，去看望鲑鱼了。
The trout cannot go without water, how can they be friends？
鲑鱼不能离开水里，他们是如何成为朋友的呢？
Deedee must be a good swimmer.
迪迪肯定会游泳。
Sometimes the ducks come down to the stream to swim.
有时鸭子们会到下游来游泳。
Then we talk together.
那时，我们会一块聊天。
Mommy Duck brings her baby to the stream today.
今天，鸭妈妈带着宝宝到小溪边了。
They join Deedee and trout to have a nice chat.
他们加入迪迪和鲑鱼，愉快聊天。
And so does the frog.
青蛙也加入了。
When I go in the woods, I always say hello to my fiends the chickadee and the woodpecker.
当我去树林中时，我总是会和我的朋友山雀和啄木鸟问好。
Deedee climbs up the tree to greet his bird friends.

Look, the woodpecker is working.

It is making a hole in the tree to find some insects to eat.

Birds eat insects and worms.

The shy newt is hiding in the leaves but he comes out to say hello.

Newt lives both in water and on land.

It likes moist places.

The chipmunks are always cheerful. They run out to greet me whenever I come to call.

The chipmunk family all come out to welcome Deedee, when he drops by.

They bring their favourite acorn to share with Deedee.

I often stop to talk to the clever spider and look at his beautiful web.

After rain, the web is decorated with some raindrops.
雨后，蜘蛛网上点缀这点点雨滴。
A fly is flying near the web.
一只苍蝇正在蜘蛛网边上飞。
Will it be caught by the web？
它会被蜘蛛网黏住吗？
Will the spider get his feast？
蜘蛛能吃到这顿佳肴吗？
I don't think so.
我不这么认为哦。
The spider is chatting with Deedee now.
蜘蛛正在和迪迪聊天呢。
But when I see the owl, I hurry home before he sees me.
但每当我见到猫头鹰时，趁他没看见我前，我赶紧回家。
But why？
可是为什么呢？
Isn't the owl a friend of Deedee？
猫头鹰不是迪迪的朋友吗？
No, owl eats mouse.
不，猫头鹰吃老鼠。
The owl is the enemy of Deedee.
猫头鹰是迪迪的敌人。
So the little mouse runs away the minute he saw the owl.
因此小老鼠一看到猫头鹰就逃走了。
Before I go to bed at night, I watch the lovely sun go down.
在我晚上上床时，我看着美丽的落日渐渐消失。
After a day's visit, Deedee finally comes back home and go to bed.
在一天走亲访友后，迪迪终于回家睡觉了。
How many friends does Deedee have？
迪迪有多少个朋友呢？
Katydid, turtle, snail, trout, duck, chickadee, woodpecker, newt, chipmunk, and spider.
纺织娘、乌龟、蜗牛、鲑鱼、鸭子、山雀、啄木鸟、蝾螈、花栗鼠和蜘蛛。

三岁左右的小朋友，刚刚走出家门，进入幼儿园，开始独自探索世界，接触社会。朋友是什么呢？朋友其实是个挺抽象的概念，不仅是玩伴，还有更深一层的志同道合，相互牵绊，甚至是三观统一在里面。
