Five Children and It

    Here “It” means  Psammead which lives in a gravel-pit. There was a large family， Robert， Anthea，Cyril and Martha， the nursemaid with the baby.  The five children found Psammead and they asked It for many wishes.  They wanted to be rich, to be beautiful, to have wings and to be bigger than the baker's son and so on...  Different wishes led to different results...
