Today is Monday and it's a new day for Pippi too.

Pippi bit her big toes and said nothing. She said it was unfair and then poured the water on the kitchen floor, Mr. Nilsson's suit soaked. Pippi said it was unfair because they would have Christmas vacation in a few moths but she would not have a tiniest Christmas vacation. She told Tommy and Annika that she decided to go to school, which made them joyful. Tommy told Pippi that they would wait her at eight o'clock the next day morning. Pippi said she could not go to school that early and she would ride to school. She did ride to school. The next morning at ten o'clock, she lifted her horse off the porch, and a little later all the people in the town ran to their windows to see what horse it was that running away. They thought it was the horse running away, actually it was Pippi in a bit of a hurry to get to school. Pippi galloped into school, jumped off the horse, tied him to a tree, and burst into the school room with such a noise and clatter that Tommy and Annika and their classmates jumped in their seats. Pippi waved her hat and asked if she had got in time for pluttification.
