This weekend of October 27th and 28th for the 1st group starting from 08:20 to 10:20 am, I have got about 16 kids for 二三年级 from 西中街小学. And from 10:30 to 12:30am, I had about 12 kids from the age category of 10年 team D.
Topic: Introduction to 1 v 1
1. Warm up
In an open area of 20 x 30m, performing some easy moves, for escaping, changing direction, Introduce step over move.
2. Technical drills
I used a kind of dynamic interactive environment, in order to made the current situation more realistic to normal kind of football, kids were moving around in between themselves and cones. It was kind of interactive game, because, I was looking for a winner time between the 2 teams of 8 kids. The requirements were dribbling through each cone without touch it or touch someone’s ball, on an audio or visual sign they should dribble toward the own goal. The last play, he teams loose a point
The 2nd content was the 1 vs 1 situation, where the player with ball possession (in attack) should use double scissor or step over move or any other move to escape the player without ball (in defense) and the second objective after escaping the defender was to shoot in goal without crossing the set line. Here I was emphasizing on speed and timing of attacker player, and position and place of defender.
3. Match
They played together 4 V 4, I tried to group them by they age and skills ability, the competition was higher and I observed the confidence in kids about keeping and escaping their opponent.But more practiceare still needed to get familiar and improve this skill
Note:
We have had a nice teaching session with the French coach from OL, the what he emphasized on Saturday and Sunday was very important if our club want to make kids well improving. Training should be closer to real situation of a normal football game. Giving the kids the ability of Analyzing, Deciding and find solution to challenges occurred during football training and match.
