The number of young children is disproportionate to the number of kindergartens

Gradually improve the level of teachers

Although the status quo of kindergartenteachers is still at a relatively low level now, we can see that theeducational level of kindergarten teachers in China is in a gradual upwardphase in the recent 6 years of development.

It shows that the proportion of graduatestudents, undergraduates and junior college graduates has been on the rise yearby year. The number of kindergarten teachers with academic records below highschool and high school dropped gradually after 2014 and later. This partlyreflects the gradual optimization of preschool education in China.

According to preliminary statistics on theannual education funding in 2016 published by the Ministry of Education, thetotal investment in pre-primary education in the country totaled 280.2 billionyuan, an increase of 15.48% over the previous year, making it one of thehighest increases in education funds.
