Today we talked about TOEFL and SAT teaching method and the future of this industry. What put me into deeper thinking is how to teach BASIC or ENTRY level of test takers. That is to say, they are beginners to English, no to mention a test like TOEFL could be tough even to an advanced English learner. So as for these students, the work after each lesson is more important than what could be taught by teachers in classes. There're three main steps :
1. Listen to speaking tasks 3-6 repeatedly.
2. Use DIY materials in the similar way like IELTS does, leaving important words in blanks in each sentence.
3. Read after the listening materials.
