The graph illustrates how the percentages of people living in cities in terms of four different countries from 1970 to 2030.
The proportion of American people living in cities was the highest, with the figure increasing Stadley from 70% in 1972 around 75% in 2021. Followed by the proportion of south Korea, which was 40% in 1970 and had a large growth between 1970 and 2021. In addition, the percentage of urban residents in USA and South Korea is projected to rise further to 80% and 70% respectively.
However, the figure of India and China both had a low rate, which in China had a slightly increased from 20% in 1972 to 32% in 2021， while in India had a decrease from 30% in 1990 to 20% in 2010.
Overall, these countries see a study grows in the propulsion of urban population except a drop in the figures for India between 1990 and 2010.
