语法
一般过去时与现在完成时
做题的时候，主要是根据句子中出现的表示时间的词或者短语来决定填入／选择哪种时态。
一般过去时句中出现的时间，常是表示具体的过去某个时间。例如：last week, then minutes ago, this morning, 等等。
现在完成时句中出现的表过去的时间，常是比较概念化的或者抽象的，或者是距离现在的一段时间。例如：already, up to now, just, since 1988, for three months, 等等。
当是when引导的特殊疑问句，因为是问具体的时间，所以问句用一般过去时。
eg:
He has begun his own telephone service.
When did he begin this service? Yesterday.
现在完成时中如果提问时间，用How long，同时要注意不能用瞬间动词。
How long has he been in this telephone service?
仔细分辨一下句子的语境。
She is an English teacher.
How long has she taught English? For 20 years.
When did she teach you? She taught me when I was a kid.
Tom is in hospital.
What’s wrong with him? He has broken his leg.
How long has he been in hospital? He has been there for a week.
When did that happen? He had an accident on Monday morning.
Tom and Jerry are friends.
When did they first meet?
How long have they known each other?
