Watching the sunset atVarsity Lake is beautiful! As soon as we got here inGold Coast, my mother rented a house. It is an apartmentnear Varsity Lake. It is a small apartment, but it is cozy and comfortable.
Today as soon as I got home, my mom asked me to go for a walk near the lake. At first I said no because I was tired, but I thought it all over again and decided to just go for a walk.
It was five o'clock when we walked on to the road on Varsity Lake. It is sort of like a deck, but smaller. The sun was very colorful when we got there. It was mostly blue but I could also see some purple and pink and other beautiful colors in the sky. I didn't have to see a rainbow because the sky itself was a colorful rainbow. The sun and the moon were both upon the sky although the sun was about to go down the mountain.
It was pretty cold near the lake, my mom started to shiver. After we walked through the small wooden deck, my mom and I walked into a small pathwith trees on both sides. A strange bird sang a little tune when it flew by. A gust of cool wind blew on my face as a euphoric wave passed over me.
It was starting to get late, and my mother and I decided to rest on a big rock near the lake. We startedlooking at the sky. It wasn't colorful by then, and it was just plain orange mixed with a little blue. The sun was getting lower, lower and lower untill it disappeared in the mountains. The water in the lake turned pink and so did the reflection of the clouds. The sky turned red and orange until the sun was down and it got dark.
My mother and I started to go home. I seldom walk near a lake, but this time I feel so happy. Now I know that Varsity Lake is a wonderful place.
