About the story
Trixie, Daddy and knuffle bunny go on a trip to the local laundromat. But their exciting adventure takes a dramatic turn when trixie realizes somebunny has been left behind...
Trixie was lively as she went with her daddy down the block, through the park, pasted the school, and arrived the laundromat. For the toddler, helping Daddy put the washing into the washing machine and putting money into the machine made her feel very interesting and happy. But on the way home she realized that her knuffle bunny had been left behind. For she could not talk, Trixie could not tell her daddy why she was upset. When Daddy said, “Please don't get fussy." she bawled and went "boneless." They both arrived home unhappy. Mom immediately found that Knuffle Bunny was missing. The three ran back to the laundromat. Daddy tried his best to look for kuffle bunny. At the end Daddy found the bunny in the washing machine. The toddler said, "Knuffle Bunny!!!" — those were her first words Trixie ever said.
Common Sense Media described it “ A charming book for all ages!” They are absolutely right! I was fascinated by the story. I almost bursted out laughing When I saw the picture of Trixie went boneless. The book reminded me everything my kids had done when they were toddlers.
Though Daddy does not understand the child as well as Mummy, The story also shows how much Daddy loves Trixie. Because Daddy looked for the bunny inside and outside the washing machine until he found it.
