Why do you think some people remain single?

    While there are plenty of single people in the world who would love to be in  relationship if given the choice, there are also plenty of people who embrace the single life by choice. In my opinion, people choose to remain single either because they are waiting for that special person to come into their life, or because they prefer their life the way it is., almost certain a romantic relationship would be a deterrent to their future goals. Certain people have been single for so long that it would take someone exceptional to make the single person want to take the risk of getting into a romantic relationship .I say risk because many single people remain single because they view a romantic relationship as a possible hindrance to their  future success. For these reasons, there are many people in the world who choose to remain single despite being surrounded by a societyof people who seemingly need to be in a relationship at all times.
