Not only Lotte, but in car, beauty products, and even confectionery business as well are seriously affected, in which the sales have plunged.

But the boycott is applied selectively. Export of goods such as memory chips made by Samsung to China has risen.

Some people think that since the boycott to South Korea failed to stop the THAAD, China's stance may be shifting.
