Sunflowers
We shared a great quiet moment with a sea of sunflowers, located in the Woodland area near UC Davis. This was the first time that I saw so many sunflowers! I'm sure it will be a great harvest for sunflower seeds :)
"Sunflower seeds" is one of the most popular snacks in China. We eat them when watch TV and chat with friends and family. The sunflower seeds are made into many flavors, salted, cream-flavored, pepper salted, brown sugared... They are my favorite.
But, hmm, people living in the US seem to use them more in bakery and salads, instead of snacking? I don't find sunflower seeds are that popularly sold in the markets.
