You can enable the "Foreground processing" function for a failed IDOC via:
- Run t-code BD87
- Input the selection criteria and execute

Restrict and processin Context menu for the failed IDOC - Deselect "Background processing" and execute the program
RBDMANI2 - In the menu
Process - Foreground processing
Note:
Please ensure the Dialog allowed option is selected for the IDOC inbound function in t-code BD51, and the IDOC inbound function has proper code to handle the error re-processing in foreground mode.
