I entered the hotel manager's office and sat down. I had just lost ￡50 and I felt very upset.' I left the money in my room,' I said, 'and it's not there now.' The manager was sympathetic, but he could do nothing. 'Everyone's losing money these days,' he said. He started to complain about this wicked world but was interrupted by a knock at the door. 练习感悟：

大概往后翻了翻，好像是从这一刻开始课文就突然变长了，但这总是一个循序渐进的过程。

最近发现学校有些人之所以认为课文难背，是因为完全弄不懂句子的结构、对词组的用法也似懂非懂。突然感觉自己养成的练习前不查词就读不了的习惯还是不错的……

毕竟自己读出来的东西必须听懂。
