练习材料:
Lesson 1 A private conversation
Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. 'I can't hear a word!' I said angrily. ‘It’s none of your business,' the young man said rudely. 'This is a private conversation!'

知识笔记:
1.朗读(L0)
rudely这个单词的发音不满意,r的发音不好听。
2.音标(L1)
front vowel /ɪ/ 单词: interesting did it sit behind business
来源1:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ok_HG-0lNCA
focus the correct position of your tongue, slightly open your mouth, spread your lips and relax them
raise your tongue high in your mouth and push it to the front, the tip of your tongue can be lowered just behind your bottom teeth.
remember, the /ɪ/ is a relaxed sound, so you tongue and lips should be relaxed, and your tongue should be at the front of your mouth.
单词: I did it sitting behind

跟ee的音相比,the jaw drops more
There's a relaxed jaw drop. The tip of the tongue stays forward, lightly touching the back of the bottom front teeth. The top, front part of the tongue arches up toward the roof the mouth.
When this vowel is in a stressed word or syllable, like "fix", it has an up-down shape; when it's in an unstressed syllable, it will be flatter and lower in pitch, quieter.
Notice that the jaw is more dropped for the stressed syllable. For the unstressed ones, the jaw is less dropped.
Unstressed word is shorter, so there isn't as much time to make the full mouth position.
