When I learn something, I found it very hard to remember it if I simply try to mesmerize the thing I'm taught. It must have something to do with understanding. If I understand a concept well, know why it exists, what it stands for, who it impacts, where and how it's used, then it's easier to remember and even apply it.
Why, what, who, where, how -- that's what makes a story. If a teacher, when teaches the students, gives out knowledge just like telling a story, even better, telling a great story, would it be easier for students to learn and digest?
