the first paragraph depicts an incident where a mayoral candidate’s voice was mimicked by AI in a hostile way in which the his phony voice laid into people’s bemoaning and anxiety about police brutality and missed a “heavenly” time when police brutality was normal and nobody thought it was much of a big deal.
in the second paragraph it shows that because a total of 4bn people are going to vote for leaders in 2024 the risks AI causes are way too high to ignore, which is backed up by several quotes from some commercial barons in AI field.
in the third paragraph it continues to show the concerns shared by people but from political field.
after generalizing people’s worry about AI, the forth paragraph goes into detail about how AI did the election a disservice by illustrating GOP’s AI generated campaign to portray disastrous scenario in a new Biden administration.
the fifth paragraph makes a turn and present a different picture saying that technicians in AI are indifferent to the detriments that may come with AI because they are people tend to treat them as spam no matter where they hear from them ,let alone the fact we don’t know if AI ads are truly as persuasive and targeted as people claim them to be
the sixth paragraph shows that although academics are inclined to agree with it.but there lies another problem ,that is ,if people are inundated with too much information they they think are spam,they will trust nothing whether true or false.
in the seventh paragraph,the aforementioned mimicry experienced by Mr Vallas substantiate the idea that AI will not play a significant role in elections because although he was sabotaged by it he wasn’t affected a little in the election a day after the fabricated AI recording.and the list goes on to show that worldwide there is no cogent case to back up an AI influenced election.
