Summary

Tristran fell asleep beneeth a copper beech tree, who was wood-nymph. They told each other their own story. Then, The tree decided to help Tristran find the star. She told him three true things. First, the star was in great danger. Second, a carriage would be coming down and helping him find the star. Third, she gave him a copper-colored leaf which could be a guide in the most need. Then, The tree made a huge branch fell down onto the path directly in front of the carriage. Tristran helped the driver drag the branch to the side of the track. In return, the driver took Tristran with through the forest.

Meanwhile, the witch-queen was waiting for the star to come to her settled trap. She turned the goats into a man with a white chin-beard and a boyish young woman. In addition to this, the chariot was gone. In front of them, there was a small inn.

Suddenly, there came a heavy rain. The heavy rain cut off all vision as effectively as the thickest fog. To look for a place to rest, Tristran and the driver found the inn.

Afterthoughs

昨天刚看完电影，虽说内容跟小说是有很多不同，但对理解还是有很大帮助的。真没想到Premus尽然可以跟Tristran谈心，跟电影完全不同，我感觉Tristran就是这种会让坏人都喜欢的人物。因为他的单纯，没有心机，到哪里都不缺朋友，小说里就是这样，碰到他的人都会愿意去帮助他，愿意跟他分享自己的故事。我想接下来那章应该就是英雄救美、感情升华的场景了吧！
