Recent media reports highlight challenges faced by some travellers attempting to enter the USA, including cases of detention or refusal of entry. While some reports suggest electronic messages critical of political figures may have played a role, other factors could also be involved. At this stage, it is difficult to determine how many cases reflect routine enforcement actions.
