这四个词究竟有什么不同呢？

Spend
spend主语是人
sb spend ... on sth
某人花费了...时间/金钱在某事上
I spend 30 dollars on that book.
我花了30块钱买这本书
sb spend (in) doing sth
某人花了...时间/金钱在某事上
I spent two hours in painting the wall.
我花了两个小时的时间刷墙。
Take
take 主语是物
It takes/took sb. … to do sth.
花了某人…(时间、金钱)做某事。
It took 10 million dollars to protect the boss.
我们用1000万来保护老板的安全
It takes me forty minutes to go to work every day.
我每天上班路途需要40分钟。
Cost
cost 主语是物
sth cost sb
东西花了某人...金钱
The book costs me 30 dollars.
这本书花了我30块钱
Pay
Pay主语是人
Sb. pay …for …sth.
某人为某物花了…钱。
I paid 30 dollars for that book
我付了30块拿到这本书

cash 现金
Pay in cash 用现金支付

check 支票
Pay in check 用支票付款
They don't accept cash，we have to pay in check.
他们不收现金，只好用支票支付。
credit card 信用卡
Pay by credit card 用信用卡付款

Installments 分期付款
