1. Words and phrases

1) He won for his ventriloquist act, because the judges said it was wholesome.

ventriloquist: 口技表演者

e.g: A ventriloquist is performing with his dummy on his lap.

2) I don't think Dad approve of Larry Larkin and all his piercings.

Piercings: 人体穿刺饰品;身体穿环

e.g.: He got a lot of piercings, even for the toungue.

3) But other times it didn't work out so good, like Terrence James played hamonica on a unicycle while Charise Kline read about her poem about global warming.

harmonica: 口琴

e.g. My daughter likes harmonica very much.

2. Sentence

He's been such a jerk to me lately that I can't believe he was trying to hit me up for a favor.

e.g. Hit me up if you came to Guangzhou.

3. Diary

I went to Thailand with my daughter these days. It was not as hot as what I thought. The weather in Hua Hin was pretty nice. We rode a horse alone the beach. That was the first time I rode a horse. My daughter even can drive the horse running. It was awesome. She liked the horse very much. I would say Thailand is worth to go again.
