On May 14th,2018, our quality department held a teambuilding activity which was fruit platters-themed. It’s a great honor for me to do these fruit platters with my QC girls. Cutting fruits and beautifully putting them on the plates is one of my hobbies. To be honest, when I was told that I would be able to make them in the company, I was happy and nervous.
In fact in ordinary life, doing fruit platters makes me relax and this hobby adds colour to the dull routine of everyday life. However, I never dreamed that this hobby could win my colleagues’ love. Unfortunately, I only did some simply fruit platters in normal times. If I would show my fruit platters during the teambuilding activity, I needed to learn more ways of cutting fruits from internet. Frankly, to prepare for this activity, I often practiced making flowers by cutting watermelon rind after I finished my work. Apart from my study, I needed to train some of my QC girls cutting fruit, so that this activity could be completed satisfactorily. Luckily, on the activity day, my QC girls worked well with me. We finished twenty fruit platters within two hours. I think this activity was more successful than my expectation. I do thank my QC girls’ cooperation.
