Part One What I have learnt from the Introduction
A few days ago，I saw many small national flags of China and Israel when I passed through the Chang'an Street. It was the eve before Premier Li’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The oceanic blue and pure white of Israel’s flags under the warm yellow lights fascinated me and also pushed me to search religious meanings of the hexagram [known as Magen David (Shield of David)] on them.
I recall the series on Israel’s brief history recommended by Yusi ——《以色列：一个国家的诞生》《以色列 2：在危机中生存》which centers on the course of Zionism and the crisis after its founding.
