I still remember it was May 5th, 2014. Monday. That day I was on board.
清晰记得入职报道的那一天2014年5月5日星期一。
Disturbed and excited, every breath in the strange air, it implicated new hope and infinite unknown. After filled in several forms, HR guided me in to a meeting room.
忐忑兴奋，在陌生空气中的每一次呼吸，似乎都蕴含着新希望和无限的未知。HR让我填写一些资料后，直接把我带进会议室。
Pushing the door, it stuffed with people. It’s the regular meeting on every Monday. People all around the big oval meeting table, and others sitting on the temporary chairs. Laptops placed on the table and the Apple Logo showing on each cover. Two big glass walls and the third side is the products wall, the other is projection area, behind me.
推开会议室的门，发现里面塞满了人。原来，那是周一的例会。大型的办公圆桌围坐满了人，还有一些同事坐在临时增设的圆凳上。一个个苹果LOGO在桌面的笔记本面盖上闪亮着。诺大的会议室两面是玻璃墙，另一面是产品展示区，还有就是我背后的投影区了。
I glanced around, saw the two sisters, they have interviewed me 1 month ago, and the young, handsome Director.
我局促的扫视了一下，看到了面试过我的两位小姐姐，还有年轻帅气的总监。
Handsome Director said, “Sit down.” and hint me sit down beside him. I intertwined and hesitated. And heard laugher, “It’s fine, sit down.” Somebody found my embarrassed. I sat down finally and pretended to be calm. SZ just in May, but the air conditioner controlled the meeting room in really low temperature. I warped by a dress and felt cold, just minutes later.
帅气总监说“坐吧！”让我在他旁边的主席位坐下，我纠结着犹豫着。隐约听到笑声，“没事，坐吧！”看来，我的窘迫被人发现了。我假装镇定地让自己坐了下来。 5月的深圳，会议室里的中央空调温度开得很低，一身连衣裙的我，没几分钟就浑身冰凉。
With my ears up in the meeting, Chinese and English combined in the discussion. The Quality manager is from HK, when I heard him speak Mandarin, I stifled my laughter. Cantonese was helping him, expressed smoothly. This meeting combined with Mandarin, English and Cantonese. I think if I took a notebook into the meeting room, to record something, it will help me calm down and relax.
竖着耳朵听着会上的讨论，中英文夹杂，品质经理一听是香港人，他的普通话让我有点想笑，白话让他的表达更顺畅。这是普通话、英语、白话夹杂的会议。我想，哪怕我带一个笔记本，记下点什么，我想应该能帮我放松一下。
The following 1.5 year, I recorded lots of meeting notes, manage project files, sending samples, these were comprised my main job. It’s not the same with the job description required as beginning. Also it required lots of do odds and ends, for supporting PDMs daily work.
后来的一年多里，记录大量的会议纪要、管理项目文件、寄送样品组成了我的主要工作内容。这似乎与岗位职责要求有很大的出入。当然还有很多琐碎打杂的工作，以支持产品开发经理们的工作。
After regular meeting every Monday, I record and tidy up the meeting note on the same day. Monday I usually work overtime. Even the last one leave office and locked the door with U-locker. Our beautiful Receptionist, usually check with us and pass the key to the one who will OT. Several times later, she just check with me and pass the key to me.
每周一例会后，我需要当天整理出会议纪要。周一必定加班，甚至最后一个离开公司锁门。漂亮的前台MM，后来不再群发消息确认今天谁加班锁门，直接就把一串钥匙交给我。
Meeting note need double check and confirm, when completed and the second to click ”SEND” I feel relax. Turn off the light, close the air conditioner, locked the door and clock off.
会议纪要需要反复修改确认，发送出去的那一刹那，顿时整个人都轻松了。关灯、关空调、上U形锁、打卡下班。
For make sure the accuracy of meeting note, I found the tips. Before Monday meeting, I read all the weekly reports from each PDM send out in the weekend. Not just CN PDM, also CA PDM. It helps me know the progress of each project. And also assistant me to get the point in the meeting.
为了确保会议纪要的准确，我找到了一个好方法，在每周一开会之前，阅读完中国和美国项目经理们每周末发出的周报。弄清楚项目的进展，帮助我理解开会的时候讨论的重点是什么。
One attentive PDM found, they are some error in my record, and told me in private, even explain project detail to me. From her words and attitude, she encourage me a lot!.
有细心的项目经理发现，我会议纪要中的错误，会私下告诉我。甚至解释给我听项目的细节。
It’s a core department, I slowly found. Lots of work need PDM to drive and pushing. Here, PDM drives everything.
我慢慢发现，这原来是一个核心部门，需要工作需要产品经理来推动。
