Let's review the words and phrases I think are important. I try to explain them with my own comprehension.

impress sb with...

Make a deep impression on sb. May do something together or give some funny reactions to sb.
eg. I can impress her with my Chinese cooking.

enroll in sth

Join in some groups, or register for some platforms.
eg. I enrolled in a couple of English courses.

in ... respect

In many ways. Sometimes it can be similar to 'with regard to'.
eg. In this respect, we have made great progress.

have ... in mind

You have already had some thoughts, ideas or something you want in your brain.
eg. Do you have anyone good in mind?

in the long term

For a long time. Several months or years.
eg. I need to make a plan for my English learning in the long term.

aim to do

Have a clear goal and a detailed plan to try one's best to finish.
eg. I aim to get the IELTS qualification.
