Disney has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Mulan, the studio's live-action remake of the 1998 animated classic.迪士尼刚刚揭晓了《花木兰》的首款预告片，这部电影是1998年经典动画片《花木兰》的真人翻拍版。
trailer指〔电影、电视节目的〕新片预告，预告片。
live-action 形容词，实景真人的，remake重新录制的唱片或电影，也可以作动词。相关名词例句：
...a 1953 remake of the thirties musical "Roberta." ...1953年对30年代音乐剧《罗伯塔》的一次翻拍。

follow此处的意思是，电影或书籍呈现、叙述，比如The book follows the plight of an orphaned Irish girl who marries into New York society.这本书讲述了一个爱尔兰孤女嫁入纽约上流社会后所面临的困境。
titular表示名义上的，有名无实的，经常和head/leader/monarch等词搭配，表示名义元首/领导/君主等。
女扮男装，a woman poses as a man, pose冒充，比如：Bryce was caught posing as a lawyer. 布赖斯冒充律师被人识破。
ailing可以形容人，生病的，也可以形容境况，表示不景气的，比如：
the ailing car industry 不景气的汽车工业

这句话里的departure不是离开，而是〔对惯例、传统或人们所期望的方式的〕背离，违反，常用搭配departure from，比如：
Their new designs represent a departure from their usual style. 他们的新设计脱离了一贯的风格。
可以搭配形容词定语radical/major/significant，相当于a big change重大变化[变革]，比如：
This would be a radical departure from the subsidy system. 这对津贴制度来说将是一项重大的变革。
villain指小说、戏剧、电影里的反派人物，有一个词组the villain of the piece, 指的是首犯，主要肇事者；为害的事物。
malevolent恶毒的，可以形容人，也可以形容smile, look等，比如：
He gave her a dark, malevolent look. 他阴险恶毒地看了她一眼。
迪士尼给出的剧情梗概是这样的：

decree除了表示法院的裁决、裁定之外，还可以指由国家统治者颁布的命令，法令，比如：

刚才说到女扮男装，用的动词pose，这里出现了一个替换词masquerade，假装，伪扮，常用搭配masquerade as/under，比如：
A number of police officers masqueraded as demonstrators. 一些警察伪装成游行示威者。
Some of these breakfast foods are just candy masquerading as cereals. 这些早餐食品中有些虽然貌似谷物，其实就是糖果。
He was masquerading under a false name. 他使用假名掩饰身份。
The first look of the film is action-packed and features memorable moments from the animated film.这部电影曝出的第一款预告片充满了精彩打斗，同时还包含了原动画片中的一些让人怀念的场景。
The first look相当于trailer的替换词，预告片。
-packed词缀，表示充满了，比如：The encyclopedia is packed with clear illustrations and over 250 recipes. 这本百科全书充满了清晰的插图，还有二百五十多个食谱。
action-packed即充满了打斗。
The clip begins with Mulan's parents discussing her matchmaking prospects. "The matchmaker has found you an auspicious match," her mother said. Mulan responded by saying, "Yes, I will bring honor to us all."预告片中，刘亦菲饰演的花木兰被父母告知已被许下婚约，而木兰则坚定地说：“我会为家族带来荣誉的！”
clip指电影作为宣传用的片段，也就是平时说的片花
auspicious match，中文里的良配。
"Quiet, composed, graceful, disciplined, these are the qualities we see in a good wife. These are the qualities we see in Mulan," a woman says in the trailer.娴静、沉着、淑雅、守礼，这是一个贤妻应有的品质，也是我们从木兰身上看到的品质。
composed陈静的，镇定的，一般不用于名词前，经常做表语，比如：She seemed outwardly composed. 她表面上好像很镇静。
The minute and 30-second teaser ends with the heroine saying, "It is my duty to fight."这条1分30秒的预告片以女主角的一句话结尾：“我的职责，就是战斗。”
又一个trailer的替换词：teaser前导广告，预热广告，是从tease挑弄演化而来。
