跟读心得日记：

1、These are basically extremely large pans – the sap is poured into these, a fire is built and the pans are then heated until the sap boils.(C17 Test4 Part4第31句)

跟读这句话，我学到了两个日常生活中非常有用的表达，一个是生火，就是build a fire 或者被动语态a fire is built; 另外一个就是水沸腾了，也不复杂，就是the water boils.

2、After this process, something called‘sugar sand' has to be filtered out as this builds up during the boiling and gives the syrup a cloudy appearance and a slightly gritty taste.(C17 Test4 Part4第34句)

上一句我学到了build a fire, 在这一句当中，又出现了build up表示是逐步生长，逐步建立起来，也可以说是累积起来的意思。

3、Once this has been done, the syrup is ready to be packaged so that it can be used for a whole variety of products.(C17 Test4 Part4第35句)

a whole variety of与 a variety of 的区别，在于whole variety表示了包含这个事物里所有种类的意思，表示各种各样，而a variety of只是表达了不同的种类，并不是所有种类。
