【诗人简介】
约翰·济慈 John Keats（1795-1821) 杰出的英国诗人作家之一。济慈才华横溢，与雪莱、拜伦齐名。他善于运用描写手法创作诗歌，从生活中寻找创作的影子，被人们推崇为欧洲浪漫主义运动的杰出代表。济慈因患肺结核不幸英年早逝，未能与最亲密的女友 Fanny Brawne 缔结良缘，去世时年仅25岁，可他留下的诗篇誉满人间。

Nymph of the downward smile and sidelong glance!
In what diviner moments of the day
Art thou most lovely?-when gone far astray
Into the labyrinths of sweet utterance,
Or when serenely wandering in a trance

1. G·A·W是济慈弟妻名字的缩写。初见乔治安娜时，济慈为她的美貌惊诧不已，无论在她说话时，思考时，还是晨起披衣出门，她都风情万种，美貌堪比太阳神前跳舞的仙女。
本诗韵律为彼得拉克式，即 ABBAABBACDCDCD 。汉译避开英诗悖于汉诗的韵式，采用了一韵到底以利汉读译法。
