Today is Wednesday.
I am going to read another book in my list, Stone Soup.
Three soldiers were walking on the road. They were tired and hungry. They had eaten nothing for two days. They saw a village ahead and hoped they could have something to eat and then take a good sleep. The peasants knew the soldiers were coming to their village and hid their food as soon as possible. So when the soldiers came into the village, no one gave them any food to eat. The three soldiers had a secret talk and told the villagers that they would cook some stone soup. Everyone was surprised for their decision and wanted to watch what the soldiers would do. The soldiers asked for a big pot to cook. The peasants found the biggest one. And the soldiers asked for some water. Thinking that is necessary for cooking a pot of soup, the peasants took buckets of water and filled the pot. Then the soldiers boiled the water. They also asked for three hard and round stones. The peasants gave them the stones and put them into the boiled water. The villagers still were very curious how the soldiers cook the soup just by those things.
