- President Trump told reporters he wants US immigrants coming from 'everywhere' despite remarks last week that he want's more from countries like Norway not Haiti or Africa. On Capitol Hill his Homeland Security Chief was grilled by the president's remarks last week and admitted he used tough language.
- Secretary of state Rex Tillerson huddled with top diplomats from nearly 20 countries to try to figure out a way forward over the nuclear crisis on the Korean Penn. The meeting in Xxx comes just 2 days after a false missile alert in Hawaii created panic and reminded the Americans of the dangers of conflict with North Korea.
- Ice and snow have combined made travel treacherous across the south with snow going for motorists, cancelled flights for air travelers. Dangerous wind chills have also closed many school systems across the region.
