With every family owning at least one car, parking has become a big problem in the city.Some countries have tried to solve this problem bybuilding large car parks and a public transport network around the city centre.This way has both advantage and disadvantage for city planning.

Buses or subways can spread the flow of people, and they can also drive the business districts around the inner city.Large parking lots in the city center can effectively alleviate the parking problem in the inner city area and reduce traffic congestion.It also can solve the problem of difficult parking in shopping malls.

However,this approach has many disadvantage.Firstly,as more and more people come to park, downtown parking spaces will become very limited and expensive. In this case, people will still choose the parking lot in the inner city area.Secondly,this made the city centre more prosperous and the traffic worse. There is a lot of traffic and traffic in the city center. If there is a large parking lot, it means that the parking lot has to accommodate the traffic of the mall and the vehicles in the inner city area. This adds to the pressure on the city centre.In addition,it is difficult to build motorway networks in the city centre.This takes a lot of time, during which the traffic flow is not reduced, but also because of the construction of the highway will lead to traffic congestion and even accidents.

In general, this method can not effectively reduce the amount of vehicle travel, but can only alleviate the parking problem. In my opinion, the solution to the parking problem is to reduce the number of cars on the road and practice drums. If everyone drove less, the parking problem would be solved.（318)
