书海
The Sea of Books
常苦光阴短,
书海泛西东。
无心逐名利,
尘劳去无踪。
Time fleets but sighs remain,
In the forest of books I pace.
No heart for fame and gain,
All troubles go without trace.

The fleeting time causes my pain,
I'll sail at will on the sea of books.
Without desire for fame and gain,
How can worries erode my looks!

For the fleeting time I always feel pain,
On the sea of books I sail left and right.
Without any desire for fame and gain,
My earthly worries vanish out of sight!

O time flies away without rest!
In the books I go east and west.
If I'm aloof from fame and gain,
How can my dusty care remain!
