Tiny-house is cheap but illegal. Those homes are lack of occupancy permit and break building code, a code not covering tiny-house. Full-time dwellers were forced to move out. People are not allowed to live there even they own the property. Legalizing tiny-house also failed last year. Deprived of the affordable choice, many residents would be homeless.
