D22 Change mindset, change brain
Just the word "yet" or "not yet", we're finding, give kids greater confidence, give them a path into the future that creats great persistence.
And we can actually change students' mindsets.
In one study, we taught them that every time they push out of the comfort zone to learn something new and difficult, the neurons in their brain can form new, stronger connections, and over time they can get smarter.
Look what happened.
In this study, students who were not taught this growth mindset continued to show declining grades over this difficult school transition, but those who were taught this lesson showed a sharp rebound in their grades.
We have shown this now, this kind of improvement, with thousands and thousands of kids, especially struggling students.

D23 Grit is the key to success
So I left the classroom, and I went to graduate school to become a psychologist.
I started studying kids and adults in all kinds of super challenging settings, and in every study my question was, who is successful here and why?
My research team and I went to West Point Military Academy.
We tried to predict which cadets would stay in military training and which would drop out .
We went to the National Spelling Bee and tried to predict which children would advance farthest in competition.
We studied rookie teachers working in really tough neighborhoods, asking which teachers are still going to be here in teaching by the end of the school year, and of those, who will be the most effective at improving learning outcomes for their students.
We partnered with private companies, asking, which of these salespeople is going to keep their job ?
And who's going to earn the most money?

马云，王兴都经过了三次失败才最后成功，坚毅力对他们来说必不可少，但更多的是想做一番事业，追求自己的价值。

对于我们普通人来说，最重要的是还是提升自己的认知和能力，如果自己确认做对了选择题，那么就坚持下去，不断地提供自己的解题能力吧。
李笑来说过所谓创业成功就是解题高手做对了选择题。
解题的方法，把大问题拆解成小问题，把大目标拆解成小目标。利用系统思维来做事。
比如学习英语这事，库存量最重要，脑子存的英语定式越多用越来越熟悉。
因此核聚老师才要求，新学一篇前，先要把旧的文章全部复习一遍，这是个指数级增加的过程。
结合自己的学习，虽然经过听抄默读背，但是一周不复习，也是很容易忘记的。因此前一天学完新文章，最好第二天一早自己背一次。这样巩固效果最好。平时没事就要多复习。
要如何让脑子里的库存随时调用又高质量，就需要不断重复，我虽然现在学习完了，但是并不怎么牢固，因此后面的14天就是用来复习23篇文章的。基本上简单的每天3篇。中等的每天2篇，较难的每天一篇。就这样2月底复习完成。
