I saw someone write their articles in English, thinking why don't I do the same, after all I have been overseas for more than ten years using English only, remember when I just got back from Seattle, Mum said I sound like someone who just learnt how to speak Chinese.
But I never forget Chinese as my mother tongue. I indeed was thinking in English, but I count in Chinese, my ex-husband said even when I was sleeping talking I sometimes spoke both English and and Chinese ( he is British, so he guessed the part he didn't understand was Chinese).
I used Chinese to write before was I want to get used to it, I am Chinese after all. Now I want to write in English because I don't want to forget it, I was bilingual before, don't want to loose the ability. So I will write in English or Chinese as I wish, "as I wish "remind me a good French friend in Australia always said to me "as you wish", those old but good memories.

I'll write my signature ending in English now: I accept myself as who I am now, and believe I will become better and better.
