这一章节重点讲述了John和他的父亲，一个沉默寡言，默默以自己方式去爱的父亲。其实大多的父亲都是这样，很少的去和孩子说过多的话。
经过Savannah的提醒，John意识到自己陪父亲的时间很少，他想弥补他们之间的关系。第一次做饭给父亲吃，第一次问关于母亲的详情。
对于细节的描写作者真的刻画的非常的好，仿佛每个动作都呈现在眼前。
