1. bath 和 bathe
bath 做名词， bathe 做动词，这是美国人的用法。
英国人 bath 即作名词也作动词，并可作及物动词，常用于“给小孩洗澡”。
It's not necessary to bath your kids everyday.
另外，bath 指在浴缸中洗澡，“淋浴” 则用 shower
2. provide = providing 假如，只要
这两个词，用法完全一样，可以当作一个词，意为“假如，只要，以...为条件”， 作连词，引导条件状语从句。
I do believe in people being able to do what they want to do, providing they're not hurting someone else.
Provided they are fit I see no reason why they shouldn't go on playing for another four or five years.
3. 代词出现在被代替名词之前
通常，都是先出现名词，再次提到该名词时，才用代词来代替。但在英语中，也有先出现代词，再出现被代替名词的情况。例：
Although we cannot see it, there is air all around us. (it 代指 air)
Without the friction between their feet and the ground, people would not be able to walk. ( their 代指 people's )
